Angelia is the Founder and Managing Partner of AC Trade Advisory, which provides practical solutions to enterprises and government organisations in the areas of international trade and customs with focus on Asia. She is a regular speaker for various trade and customs related conferences. She is also a regular trainer with enterprises and educational institutes to empower them to make informed decisions about their global trade strategies and operations.
Angelia has more than 20 years of experience in international trade & customs practices and was formerly the Lead Partner in KPMG setting up the Asia Pacific regional trade & customs consulting practice. During her KPMG stint, she advised multi-national companies from various industries in optimising their supply chains, managing customs compliance and free trade agreements.
Prior to her KPMG role, Angelia was the overall Global Head of Trade & Customs in Philips Electronics, working closely with the Global Head of Tax. In that role as the Global Head of Trade & Customs, Angelia successfully generated customs compliance awareness across Philip Electronics and increased the utilisation of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) in the company, generating significant cost savings. Angelia had also previously worked for Cisco Systems and Sony, where she managed the regional APAC Customs function, setting up internal customs compliance controls and leading customs audits.
Angelia holds a Master in International Customs Law and Administration from the University of Canberra in Australia and a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from the National University of Singapore (NUS).
